Grace Kathryn Eisenhart Hostetler September 7, 1917 -- June 13, 2010 Grace Kathryn Eisenhart Hostetler, 92, formerly of 1003 East Walton Avenue, died Sunday at Valley View home. She was born in Huntingdon, a daughter of the late Chester and Blanche Heffner and was twice married, first in 1934 to Benjamin Eisenhart, who died April 24, 1976, then on June 6, 1981 she married Donald Hostetler who died August 11, 1985. Surviving is one daughter, Mary Grace Fetterman ( James E.) of Greenwood, six grandchildren, Fred Kirk (Glory), David Kirk (Jody), Lisa Shepp (Steve), Robert Fetterman (Carolyn), Benjamin Fetterman (Monica), Susan Fetterman, 9 great grandchildren, Brad Kirk, Dustin Kirk, Caleb Kirk, Amy Hindinger, Cory Fetterman, Jared Grahm, Gracen Shepps, Ava Shepps, Mason Hook, many grandchildren and great grandchildren from the Donald Hostetler family, two step daughters, Donna Irvin (John) of Gettysburg, Carol Snyder (Harold) of Juniata, two brothers, Richard Walker of Chambersburg, James Smith (Wannetta), of Altoona. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Kelly in 2007, 3 brothers, William Heffner, Chester Heffner, James Heffner, and 2 sisters, Maxine Heffner and Cora Heffner. Grace retired as a nurses aide working for various nursing homes in the area for many years. She was a lifetime member of Greenwood United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, Missionary Women, taught Sunday school and Bible School and worked on many committees in the church. She loved watching wrestling, playing cards with her friends and was active in Meals on Wheels and Blair Senior Services. Viewing times have changed; friends will now be received from 2-4 & 6-8pm Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, where funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday with Rev. Joe Fleck, officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park Bellwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greenwood United Methodist Church.
