Steven S Wisniewski

Steven S. Wisniewski, 69, Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, died Thursday at the home. He was born in Plainfield, N.J., son of Steven S. and Stella (Arent) Wisniewski. He married Patricia Bell on Aug. 24, 1980, in Manville, N.J., and she preceded him in death on Aug. 30, 2006. Surviving are a daughter, Ann Kording and husband, Jonathan, of Woodbridge, Va.; his mother-in-law, Martha Elizabeth Otto of Altoona; a sister, Marian Terracano in New Jersey; a sister-in-law, Tonya R. Laird and husband, Michael, of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews. Steven was a delivery driver employed by Thul Auto Parts. He was a member of the Bread of Life Baptist Church, Altoona, and he enjoyed taking care of his birds and driving the Amish around the area. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata (www.maukandyates.com). A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Bread of Life Baptist Church, Pastor Steve Clifton officiating. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery, Sinking Valley.
