Lorraine E. Mauk

Lorraine E. Mauk, 87, formerly of Wehnwood, Altoona, died Friday morning in Libertyville, Illinois. She was born in Erie, PA a daughter of the late Frederick and Edith (Ott) Snyder. She married Robert Paul Mauk on November 16, 1948, in Altoona. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1990. Surviving are two sons, Alan Robert Mauk of Alexandria, VA, John Lynn Mauk and wife Pamela of Juniata Gap, one daughter, Karen Sue Michaels of Libertyville, Illinois, two grandchildren, Shelby Mauk of Juniata Gap and Scotty Michaels of Libertyville, Illinois. Mrs. Mauk, a homemaker, was a graduate of Altoona High School. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata. Friends will be received from 11am until 1pm Monday, June 21, 2010, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday with Rev. Elizabeth Hess, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
