Donald E Finochio

Donald E. Finochio, 79, Juniata, died Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the James E. VanZandt VA Medical Center. He was born on December 23, 1930, in Altoona, son of the late James and Edith (Pompa) Finochio. Surviving are his daughter Vienna Finochio of Deland, FL; two sisters: Joan Iaia and husband Leo of Altoona, Frances Wagner of Crown Point, IN; two brothers: James Finochio (Betty) and David Finochio (Teri). He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Finochio. James retired as a foreman after of 40 years of service from Juniata Fabrics, formerly Bomont Mills in Juniata. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed baseball and football. Service for Donald are private and at the convenience of the family.
