Lorraine Stoyanoff-Rose

Lorraine (Hauck) Stoyanoff-Rose October 21, 1933-----November 22, 2010 Lorraine Stoyanoff Rose, 77, Roaring Spring, died Monday at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Walter G. and Helena (Wolfe) Hauck. She had previously been married to John Stoyanoff, and then married Richard W. Rose on October 7, 1978 in Altoona. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2001. Surviving are her children: her sons Jeffery Stoyanoff and his wife Marcia of Roaring Spring, with whom she resides, and John Stoyanoff and his wife Susan of Duncansville, two step-daughters: Mary Lingenfelter and her husband Gerald of Altoona, and Martha (Martie) Brubaker and her husband Barry of Duncannon, PA; a step-son Rick Rose of Salem, Oregon; 11 grandchildren; one brother George Hauck, and his wife Judy of Enola, PA and one sister Nancy Ewing and her husband Ron of Fairfax, VA; a brother in law Tom Hammaker, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Karl Hauck and one sister Anita Hammaker. Lorraine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, bird watching and travelling. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, November 26, 2010, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. (www.maukandyates.com). A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 27, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Home Nursing Agency-Hospice Unit.
