Jane L. Luke

Jane L. Luke, 59, of Ashville, died wednesday at UPMC's Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Charles R. and Dorothy (Smith) Goodman and married John R. Luke. Surviving are her husband and one son, John R. Luke, Jr. of Ashville, one sister, Suzanne Glunt of Walkersville, Maryland and many nieces and nephews. Jane was a 1969 graduate of Altoona High School. She really loved being around people and enjoyed working as a sales associate at Kopp Drug Express in Altoona. Friends will be received from 10-11am Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the Juniata United Methodist Church where a memorial service will begin at 11am with Rev. Keith J. Schmuck, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juniata United Methodist Church or Dogs Deserve Better, PO Box 23, Tipton, PA 16684.
