Nelda N Johnston

Nelda Naomi Johnston, 86, of Valley View Home, died Sunday at the home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles L. and Jessie Mae (Dale) Johnston. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles, in December 2006 and a sister, Rose Hoos, in December 2010. She worked as a file clerk for the U.S. Navy during World War II. There will be no viewing or service. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc. (www.maukandyates.com).
