Edwina L Decker

Edwina L. Decker, 62, of Bellwood died Thursday at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Edward Robert and Lydia Rosella (Pfahler) Becker. She married Richard E. Decker on Oct. 27, 1973, in Altoona. He preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2008. She is survived by her son, Gary Lee Decker, of Bellwood; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters: Judith Thompson and husband, Terry, of Altoona and Kathy Lee Louder of Harrisburg; and a brother, Gary Lee Nicewonger, of Martinsburg. She was a 1968 graduate of Williamsburg High School. She loved to read, work in her yard and in her house. She loved animals and especially loved spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., (www.maukandyates.com). A funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
