Harriet Elizabeth Counsman

Harriet Elizabeth Counsman, 96, of Altoona, died Saturday morning at the home of her niece. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late William A. and Ella Mae (Yundt) Lynch. She married Walter J. Counsman January 29, 1945, in Altoona. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1980. Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Linda Wray and husband Terry with whom she resided. She retired as head cashier for A & P Grocery Stores, where she was known as "Pinky", in 1977 after 35 years service. She was a 1932 graduate of Altoona High School.
