Marie Shoenfelt October 18, 1920 -- May 29, 2011 Marie Shoenfelt, 90, of Altoona, died Sunday at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Melvin and Mae (Carson) Campbell. She married Charles Russell Shoenfelt on November 9, 1940, in Cumberland, MD. He died June 30, 1999. Surviving are two sons, Ronald E. Shoenfelt and wife Sharon, Dennis P. Shoenfelt and wife Nicki, of Altoona, four grandchildren, Wendy A. Faust, Lori L. Andrews and husband Mark, Renee M. Ardrey and husband, Jamie, Ronald R. Shoenfelt and wife Stephanie, eight great grandchildren, Kylie Faust, Cameron Faust, Maddy Ardrey, Morgan Ardrey, Hunter Andrews, Kaleb Andrews, Kirstyn Andrews and Nicholas Shoenfelt, one sister, Doris Miller of Cleveland, Ohio and one brother, Ray Campbell of Grand Blanc, Michigan. She was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth R. Campbell and Glenn Campbell and one sister, Octavein Shoenfelt. Marie, affectionately known as "Toots", graduated from Hammond Beauty School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed writing poetry, painting and gardening. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2011,at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., (www.maukandyates.com) where funeral services will be held at 11am. Thursday, with Rev. Tyler Pepper, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
