Lilli A Lingenfelter

Lilli Ann Lingenfelter, 83, Altoona, died Tuesday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Mierly and Ruth Thomas. She married Edwin R. Lingenfelter in August 1948 in Altoona. He died June 13, 1998. Surviving are four children: Russ Lingenfelter and wife, Deb in Ohio; and Deborah Mallow and husband, John, Linda Haigh and husband, Michael, and Scott Lingenfelter and wife, Paula, all of Altoona; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and Bo. Mrs. Lingenfelter was a graduate of Altoona High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Altoona. Lilli enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc. (www.maukandyates.com). The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Satur-day at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor John Collins. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Leukodystrophy Foundation, 2304 Highland Drive, Sycamore, IL 60178, in honor of Lilli's granddaughter, Katie, who is afflicted with the disease
