Randy J Wolfe

Randy J. Wolfe, 62, Altoona, died Tuesday afternoon, July 19, 2011, at ARHS, Bon Secour Campus. He was born on January 8, 1949, in Altoona, son of the late Joseph and Phyllis (Taylor) Wolfe. He married Donna Darr on July 23, 1988, in the Chapel at Penn State Altoona. Surviving are four daughters: Crystal Macom of Wampum, PA, Nika Wilt of Pittsburgh, PA, Erin McCartney of Altoona, Tahni McCartney of Crestview, FL; one son Jeff Wolfe of Hollidaysburg, as well as five grandchildren. Randy retired from Stroehman Bakery as a driver after 35 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during Viet Nam, and was a member at Juniata VFW, Post 8685. He was a graduate of Altoona High School. He enjoyed NASCAR, spending time with his wife Donna at the beach, as well as spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM Thursday, July 21, and from 10-11 AM Friday, July 22, 2011, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, where a service will be held at 11 AM. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
