Jessie E. Forst

Jessie E. Forst, 70, of Duncansville, died Saturday morning at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Garman and Jessie G. (Gearhart) Reed. Surviving are three daughters, Holly Rosenthall (Harry) of Altoona, Stephanie Vaughn in Florida, Sherry Green of Altoona, seven grandchildren, Brynn Hansard, Caitlin Nedimyer, Ethan Rosenthall, Johnny Grove, Meghan McMahan, Tayler Plummer, Ariel Green-Fisher, seven great grandchildren, one sister, Carol Deffley in Delaware, her dog Muffet Ann and cat Willow. She was preceded in death by a son Douglas and a sister Dolores Kwolek. She graduated from Altoona High School and worked as a laborer at Butterick. Her hobbies included gardening and baking. A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., (www.maukandyates.com). Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
