Jones, Patty Jane October 17, 1930-----September 26, 2011 Native of Mount Union Patty Jane Jones, 80, of 1505 East Walton Avenue, Altoona, formerly of Valley View Nursing Home, died Monday afternoon, September 26, 2011, in the presence of her family. She was born on October 17, 1930, in Lewistown. She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Huffman from Ravenna, Ohio; six children: Larry G. Eby of Dover, PA, Charles R. Eby, Jr. of Manchester, PA, Cynthia E. Capelle of Willard, OH, Wesley D. Eby of Las Vegas, NV, Traci R. Fleck of Altoona, and Jonathan M. Eby of Bremerton, WA; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister, 3 children, 1 grandchild, and 2 great-grandchildren. Patty enjoyed NASCAR racing, sewing, auctions, country music dancing and especially spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 10 to 10:30 AM Thursday, September 29, 2011, at the Singers Gap United Methodist Church of 16290 Hill Valley Road, Mount Union, where a memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, with the Rev. Joey A. Fleck, officiating. A private interment will be at the Three Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Road, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
