Sandra L Hainsey

Sandra L. Hainsey, 68, of Altoona died Saturday at Valley View Home. She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of Gerald and Marjorie (Biddle) McNally. She married Samuel Blair Hainsey Sr. in April 1982. She is survived by her husband of Altoona; three daughters: Tina Wendle, Samara Hainsey and Renee Rhodes; three step-children: Lisa Ruston, Annette Ryan and Sam Hainsey Jr.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandsons; two brothers; two sisters and many nieces and nephews. She retired as a caseworker from the Pa. Department of Welfare Department after 11 years of service. She had previously owned and operated the Double S Bar for 28 years with her husband. She was an avid Steelers football fan and loved spending time with her family and grandkids. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata (www.maukandyates.com). Committal will be at Alto- Reste Park Cemetery.
