Carol A Goodman

Carol A. (Wyandt) Goodman, 76, Altoona, died early Saturday morning at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late James H. and Madalene M. (Simmons) Wyandt. She married Terry Goodman in Winchester, Va., and he died in 2001. Surviving are four children: Linda Rock, Richard Pfahler and Kevin Pfahler, all of Altoona, and Susan Pfahler of Lancaster; three grandchildren: Angela Mitchell, Jackie Tordella and Scott Pfahler; and three great-grandchildren: Braydon, Jake and Owen. Carol was a graduate of Altoona High School and had worked in the office of Baker Mansion. She was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church and also belonged to the Altoona Area High School Alumni Association and Blair County Historical Society. Carol loved her four cats. She was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers football. At the request of the deceased, there will be no services.
