Ethel N Luciano

Ethel N. Luciano, 88 of Altoona, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, at the Altoona Hospital. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late John and Florence (Stultz) McCurdy. She is survived by her husband, John Luciano, one sister Eleanor Johnson of Las Vegas, NV, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Whitman. She retired as manager of the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Ethel attended the Calvary Baptist Church and Pleasant Valley Assembly of God and was active in Senior Groups in both churches. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Calvary Baptist Church and Friday, November 18, from 10 until the 11am funeral service, also at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronald Anderson and Rev. Jim Balzano, officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements provided by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
