Robert S Faith

Robert S. Faith, 52, Sinking Valley, died Friday night at his home after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Altoona, son of William B. and Patricia L. (Sterner) Faith. He married Jenifer L. Strawmire on Sept. 25, 1983, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Juniata. Surviving are his wife; two sons: Robert J. Faith and wife, Keeley and their daughter, Elle Summerfield Faith, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Kenneth L. Faith of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Meghan E. Faith of Philadelphia; his mother of Altoona; two brothers: William B. Faith in California and James C. Faith of Altoona; his mother-in-law, Doris Strawmire, of Altoona; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Faith graduated from Altoona Area High School and Penn State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business management. He was a self-employed businessman. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc. (www.maukandyates.com). A funeral liturgy outside of Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Juniata.
