Lelia L Keith

Lelia L. Keith, 88, Altoona, died Monday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William G. and Mary (Feightner) Bartow. She first married Roscoe E. Leaper, who preceded her in death in 1974. She later married Sydney J. Keith, who preceded her in death March 27, 1992. Surviving are two daughters: Christine Mathieu and husband, Pete, of Altoona, with whom she resided, and Cheryl Craig and husband, Harold, in Florida; four grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and her very special friend, Cooper, the family's golden retriever. She was preceded in death by her sister, Viola Bartow. Lelia was an Altoona High School graduate and retired as an LPN, serving as a private duty nurse throughout the Altoona area for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. A memorial service for Lelia will be private at the convenience of the family.
