Robert S. McClellan

Robert S. McClellan, 61, Altoona, died Sunday. He was born in Altoona, son of Oliver H. and Ruth (Wendle) McClellan. He married Anita M. Zajac on May 31, 1986, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata. Surviving are his wife; three children: Jody Gahagan and Jackie Lightner, both of Martinsburg, and James of Duncansville; four grandsons; two granddaughters; four brothers; five sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Robert had been employed with Diamond Auto Body as a master auto body technician in West Palm Beach, Fla. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, bonfires with his family, working with his hands and building sculptures. He was very artistic, and he will be remembered as a loving husband and father. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata (www.maukandyates.com), followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m.
