Wanda M Harber

Wanda Marie (Salsgiver) Harber, 81, Altoona, passed away Friday at Altoona Regional. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Lester and Mabel (Decker) Salsgiver. She married Howard Leonard Harber on June 29, 1951. Surviving are her loving husband; five children: David (Eileen) of Reading and William (Roxene), Linda (Alfred) Sisto, Susan Harber and Gail (Robert) Plouse, all of Altoona; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters: Jackie Salsgiver and Shirley Black; and three brothers: Donald, Ronald and Gary Salsgiver. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Irene Salsgiver, Blanche Houck and Betty Weaver; and a brother, Robert Salsgiver. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. www.maukandyates.com
