Dale E. Brown

Dale Eugene Brown, 55, Altoona, died Friday morning in Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of Donna Brown and the late Clyde Brown. He married his wife, Karen, on Nov. 19, 1983, in Altoona. Surviving are his wife of Altoona; two daughters: Molly Brown of Jerusalem, Israel, and Katie Brown of North Cotes, England; a son, Joshua Brown of Altoona; his mother of Altoona; three brothers: Barry Brown of Altoona, Clyde Brown of Indiana, Pa., and Curtis Brown of Altoona; and a sister, Jennifer Cagle of Altoona. Mr. Brown was a 1975 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a 1982 graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va. He was a former missionary with Fellowship International Mission serving in the United Kingdom. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Dale enjoyed fish, church and family activities, computers and music. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be in Blair Memorial Park.
