Florence Woytowiez

Florence Woytowiez, 86, formerly of Juniata, died Tuesday evening, July 24, 2012, at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (D'Orfanga) Tupone. She married George J. Woytowiez who preceded her in death on March 30, 1970. Surviving are one son, Stan Woytowiez of Juniata, four daughters; Angela Woytowiez of Altoona, Mary Ann Fusco(Don) of Altoona, Nancy Pickens(Cameron) of Bellwood, Joyce Diehl(Glenn) of Altoona, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, George and Steve, six brothers and sisters; Cristina Capone, Elwood (Tony) Tupone, Laura Garman, Paolo, Nicola and Vincenza. Florence was the last of her immediate family. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata. Committal at Calvary Cemetery.
