Betty C Stauffer

Sept. 6, 1928 - Aug. 9, 2012 Betty E. Stauffer, 83, Altoona, died early Thursday morning at Tyrone Hospital. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Earl and Ethel (Spearing) Farber. Surviving are a son, Paul C. III of Altoona; and a daughter, Aura of Boiling Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Paul C. Stauffer Jr. Betty was educated in the Juniata schools. She was an active member of Juniata (formerly Gethsemane) United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping with her husband and family, being a scouting den mother, embroidery, sewing, flowers, gardening and caring for her family. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, and 9:30 until the 10 a.m. memorial service Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Juniata United Methodist Church, 808 N.
