Edwin Fleck "Pete" Brown

Edwin Fleck Brown, 80, of Homers Gap, Altoona, died Saturday afternoon at his home. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Ai Ernest Brown and Martha (Fleck) Brown. He married Beverly Jeanne Meister on January 23, 1960, in Clearfield, Pa. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Sharon Furbee and husband Robert and grandsons Thomas and James, all in Pennsylvania, Deirdre Gudenau and husband Richard in Michigan, one son, Matthew Brown of Altoona, one brother, Ai Ernest Brown, Jr. in Virginia and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Altoona High School and served in the U. S. Army. He owned and operated Browns Auto Frame Shop and his hobbies included antique cars. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or funeral service.
