Alfred H. Koch, 92, of Williamsburg, died Monday morning at the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg. He was born in Hollidaysburg, a son of the late William and Blanche (Burtnett) Koch and married Dorothy E. Porter on August 24, 1942. She preceded him in death on August 14, 2001. Surviving are one son, Richard A. Koch(Gloria) in Bradenton, Florida, one daughter, Arlene P. Williams(Rob) of Hollidaysburg, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Gary and one daughter, Sharon. Al retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad as a carman/repairman. He served in the Army infantry and the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Altoona Restoration Church of God. Friends will be received from 6-8 pm Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, October 19, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Kim Swindell, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
