Mabel F Webster

Mabel Flora Webster, 93, Altoona, formerly of Fallentimber, died Saturday in Altoona. She was born in DuBois, daughter of the late David and Delilah (Snyder) Gearhart. She married Clair B. Webster, who preceded her in death. Surviving are six children: Kenneth E. Webster of Fallentimber, Gayle E. (Douglas) Richardson of Altoona, Harold D. Webster of Tyrone, Virginia L. Shomo of Everett and Daniel E. Webster and Adam J. Webster, both of DuBois; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, William C. Webster and a brother, Willard Gearhart. Mabel was a 1939 graduate of Luthersburg High School. She was a member of DuBois Light & Life Free Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed housework, caregiving and especially spending time with her family and friends. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012.
