Helen J Boggs

Helen J. Boggs, 91, Altoona, died early Friday morning at Valley View Home. She was born in Antis Township, daughter of the late James and Mary (McGuiness) Marshall. She married Sylvester Boggs on Dec. 14, 1968, in Cumberland, Md., and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1991. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Darlene Fasick; a stepson, Robert Fasick; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers: Harry J. Friley and Ralph Friley; three sisters: Edna Nagle, Mary Nevel and Jean Bindley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Neff. Helen was employed at D&M Linen for many years. She was a member of Juniata Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
