Lee E Darr

Lee E. Darr, 79, Altoona, died Monday morning at Homewood in Martinsburg. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Herman L. and Martha J. (Gobrecht) Darr. He married Shirley A. Tag on July 4, 1957, in Hollidaysburg, PA. She preceded him in death on December 29, 2005. Surviving are his children: Sherry Hickey of Martinsburg, Dennis Darr of Lakemont, and Tracey Siaperas of Green River, UT. Lee retired form Gould Co. as a maintenance supervisor in 1992, after many years of service. He was a 1953 graduate of Altoona High School, and was a member of the Heidleberg Country Club, the VFW, and the Allegheny Club. He enjoyed socializing, riding his scooter, and was an avid Law and Order fan. A gathering for Lee will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Heidleberg Country Club in Altoona.
