Faye Williams

Faye A. Wiliams, 83, of Altoona, died Thursday evening at Valley View Home. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Edgar and Evelyn (Keith) Alexander. She married James H. Williams who preceded her in death on February 26, 1983. Surviving is one daughter, Anne Brooker (Russell), of Navarre, Florida, one son Gregory Williams (Michelle) of Waynesburg, PA, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two brothers, Jim of Tyrone and Francis of Altoona. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Burkholder and Wanda Beichler. Faye was a member of Hillside Community Church in Bellwood. She graduated from Altoona High School in 1948. During her working years, she was a seamstress at Fleck's Dress Shop in Juniata. She loved being a foster grandparent at Lilypond. Friends will be received from 11am until 12pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where funeral services will be held at 12pm , with Rev. Ken Beichler, officiating. Interment at Alto Reste Park.
