Richard Irvin Bollinger

Richard Irvin Bollinger, 64, Altoona, died Saturday. He was born in Altoona, son of William Howard and Mary C. (Mellott) Bollinger. He married Karen Sue (Lytle) on Sept. 5, 1970, at Fourth Street Church of God. He is survived by his wife; a son, Mark and his wife, Lori; a daughter, Nicole Lonsinger and her husband, Dorsey; a daughter, Erika; and two granddaughters: Ashlee and Samantha Lonsinger, all of Altoona. Richard was a member of Fourth Street Church of God. He was a graduate of Altoona Area High School. Mr. Bollinger retired in 1991 as a welder from Berwind Railway Service. He enjoyed fishing, painting and spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church Camp at Fourth Street Church of God.
