Bryan Walter Murphy

Bryan Walter Murphy, 75, Epworth Manor, Tyrone, died Saturday afternoon at Epworth. He was born in Juniata, Altoona, son of William C. and Susan P. (Walter) Murphy. He married Sandy Dinges on July 24, 1969, in Winchester, Va., and she died Aug. 21, 2013. Surviving are a brother, Byron (Carol) of Altoona; a sister, Barbara (Ernest) Papinchak of Johnstown; and six nieces and nephews and their families. Bryan was a 1957 graduate of Altoona High School. He had been employed in chemical blending with Atotech. He was a member of Juniata Presbyterian Church, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata
