Carol J. Moses

Carol J. Moses, 77, Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of Altoona, died Friday morning at the home. She was born in Claysburg, daughter of the late Roy and Florence (Weyandt) Berkey. She married William E. Moses, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Michael J. of Altoona; two daughters: Cherie L. Becker and husband, Richard, of Altoona and Gina O'Shell and husband, Brad, in New York; six grandchildren: Kelly, Keith, Jamie', Justin, Dylan and Dusty; four great-grandchildren: Cameron, Tyler, Jaxson and Madison; two brothers: Lee and Laverne; and four sisters: Shirley, Judy, Francine and Blossom. Carol was a graduate of Claysburg High School. She was former owner of Luigetta's Restaurant, and prior to that, Victorian House. Carol was of the Church of God faith. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, followed by a funeral at 7 p.m. with Pastor Troy Ferguson officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
