Doris L Foster

Doris L. Foster, 89, of Altoona, died Wednesday evening at Valley View Home. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late William and Amy (Hooper) Conrad. She married John Foster who died on January 22, 1998. Surviving are two sons, Bernard of Altoona, John of Mt. Airy, NC, two daughters, Patricia Haines and Linda Kaufman, both of Altoona, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Kenneth, Bernard and Walter and one sister, Margaret Hurm. She was a member of Juniata United Methodist Church. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Private interment at Asbury Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
