Donna F. Schneider

Donna F. Schneider, 78, of Altoona, died Tuesday at UPMC-Altoona. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Albert E. and Judith Jane (Hyle) Endress. She married Robert J. Schneider who preceded her in death on October 26, 2001. Surviving is her daughter, Lisa Ann Yarger and husband Brian of Osceola Mills, two grandchildren, Justin M Snare and fiance', Leah Palmer and Justine E. Snare and fiance' Randy W. Irwin, Jr., one sister, Carol Forney of Altoona, one brother, Charles Endress of Altoona and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Judith Layton, Nancy Lattieri, one brother, Albert D. (Butch) Endress and a son-in-law, Michael L. Snare. She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church where she was active in various church functions. She retired from Tritex Sportsware where she was a trimmer. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday, November 22, 2013, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc. where a Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:45pm Friday. A funeral Mass will be held at 10am, Saturday, November 23, 2013, at St. Marks Catholic Church with Father Ronald Osinski, as celebrant. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
