Judith H. Walters, 73, Juniata, died Friday evening at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Donald F. and Helen (Bathurst) Harley. She married Harry L. Walters, who preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 2002. Surviving are a son, Keith A. Walters and wife, Karen, of Altoona; a daughter, Debbie Strong of New York; four grandchildren: Dean Kolligian and wife, Erinn, Joseph Kolligian, Kayla Walters and fiance, Fred, and K.J. Walters; six great-grandchildren: Madyson, Payton, Cathryn, Karsen, Sage and Lucas; two sisters: Barbara Everhart in Florida and Gloria DeFeo of Altoona; and a brother, Donald Harley of California. She was predeceased by a son, Harry L. Walters Jr., in 1979; and a sister, Larue Detwiler. Mrs. Walters retired from the Juniata Silk Mill. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, walking at the mall, crocheting and bowling. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the funeral home with the Rev. John Collins officiating. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
