Shirley R McKee

Shirley R. McKee, 85, of Altoona, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, at UPMC, Altoona. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late John and Marie Ray. She married William R. McKee, who preceded her in death on January 7, 1994. Surviving is one son, John W., of Altoona, three grandchildren, John W. Jr, Tracie, Tom, three great grandchildren, Joe, Connor and Hayden and one sister, Donna Griffith of Riverdale, Maryland. She was preceded in death by one sister, Delores Ketner, two brothers, Robert and John Ray and one great granddaughter, Amanda. Shirley was a graduate of Altoona High School who loved cooking, playing pinochle, reading and watching movies. Friends will be received from 11am-1pm Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc, where a funeral service will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, with Rev. Ronald R. Anderson, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
