Barbara J Hench

Barbara J. Hench, 61, Altoona, died Sunday, March 16 at UPMC Altoona. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late William and Erma (Patton) Oschea.She married Timothy W. Hench, Sr. on May 20, 1971 in Altoona. Barbara was an office manager for HHH, Incorporated, of the protestant faith, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a 1970 graduate of Altoona High School. Surviving in addition to her husband are sons: Tim Hench, Jr. and wife Shalon and Michael Hench, both of Altoona; two daughters: Kristen Hench and husband Doug Rouzer and Jenna Hench and husband Josh Miller both of Altoona; grandchildren: Taylor Hench, Dylan Hench, Kadyn Carey, Skylar Hench, Lexi Rouzer, and Trey Hench; two brothers: Carl Oschea and wife Grace and Patrick Oschea. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Oschea. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm and Thursday, March 20 from 10 to 11am at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where a service will be held at 11am, Thursday, with Rev. Elizabeth A. Hess. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
