John A Davis

John A. Davis, 81, Altoona, passed away Wednesday evening, at UPMC Altoona. He was the son of the late William and Margaret (Nevel) Davis. John was an Altoona High School graduate, a member of the Assembly of God and a self-employed antique dealer. For many years, he enjoyed running booths at the Duncansville Antique Depot and Flea Market. Surviving, lifelong companion, Frances Bergamaschi, nephews; Gary R. Davis, Gerald Davis and wife Mary Ann, Ronald Davis and wife Vicki, and Jimmy Davis and wife Jennifer, nieces; Darlene Tokarchic and husband Donald and Joni Mighells and husband Steven, sister-in-law; Lucille Davis and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends will be received from, 4 to 7pm, Sunday April 13, 2014 at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, 719 N. 4th Avenue and 10 to 11am, Monday April 14, with a funeral service to follow at 11 am. Officiating will be Pastor Rich Maher. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
