Paul V. Webber, 85, of Altoona, died peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home Monday afternoon. He was born in Altoona a son of the late Herman and Kathryn (Dugan) Webber. He married Clara B. (Myrt) Moore on June 17, 1955 in Altoona. Surviving is his wife Clara (Myrt) of more than 58 years, two daughters: Carol A. Detrich and husband Dan of Hollidaysburg and Susan W. Fedeli and husband Joe of State College; six grandchildren: Jessica Savino, Danielle Delsandro, Joshua Detrich, Kristen Fedeli, Megan Fedeli and Brandon Fedeli; two great-grandchildren: Ella and Jayden Savino. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Lila Marks and Helen Wible and two brothers: Lee Webber and Thomas Webber. Paul was an Altoona High School graduate, served in the Korean War, and enjoyed spending time with family. He was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church and was employed by Ward Trucking for over 30 years as a truck driver. Friends will be received from noon to 2 PM on Friday, May 2 at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, 719 N 4th Avenue where a funeral service will follow at 2 PM with Reverend Ron Osinski officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
