David L. Stahl, 43, of Juniata, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, in Williams, Arizona, following a heart attack. He was born in Tyrone a son of Betty Kay Stahl and married Carol A. Butterbaugh on June 17, 1999, in Altoona. Surviving are his wife, Carol and two sons, Curtis W. and Zachary T., both at home, his mother-in-law, Irma Butterbaugh of Altoona, his mother, two sisters, Kelly Black and Becky Emery, eight brothers-in- law, four sisters-in-law, eight nieces and eight nephews. Dave was a professional long haul truck driver for Gravy Train Express/Mason-Dixon for over 21 years. Previously he was employed at Synergisticks, Altoona, and Class One Transport of McVeytown for many years. He loved being with family and friends, giving gifts, the Steelers, gambling, comedies and making everyone laugh, and loved his dog "Bo". He collected Steelers memorabilia, Hot Wheels cars and Budweiser Steins. Dave had a very unique laugh that was contagious and will be remembered by everyone who ever heard it! Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8pm, Friday, June 6, 2014, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
