Mona M Miller

Mona M. Miller, Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday morning at The Village at Morrison Cove. Formally of Riggles Gap, she was the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Dessie A. (Nail) Miller. Surviving is a nephew, Rodney Swartz of Pittsburgh; three nieces: Carol Claar of Crystal River, FL, Ruth Van Tries of Denver, CO and Donna Replogle of Juniata; a great-niece, Emily Van Tries of Altoona. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Erma Van Tries and Virginia Swartz and a niece, Gloria Van Tries. Mona was a member of the Bellwood Church of the Brethren where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school and vacation bible school over the years. She graduated from Bellwood Antis High School and was an inspector for Sylvania-Phillips GTE. Family and friends will be received, Friday, June 13 from 12 to 1 pm at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, 719 N 4th Avenue, where a funeral service will be held at 1 pm. Pastor Rod Thomas will be officiating. Interment at Asbury cemetery.
