Clyde Edward Miller, 78, went to be with his Lord, on Tuesday. He is the son of the late William C. and Viola (Decker) Miller. Ed graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1954. He worked for Penn furniture in Altoona for many years and retired from Snyders of Berlin. He and his wife were active in the American Red Cross, Jolly 60's (Riggle's Gap), Son Shine Joy, share-a-thon for WJSM, local elections, and others. He attended Riggle's Gap Bible Church and loved the lord. Surviving are his wife: Helen (Waite) Miller of 58 years; a son: Richard; and a daughter: Susan Yoder and husband Bill; grandchildren: Eric Miller, Ashley Hinkle, Katie Talbert; great-grandchildren: Noah, Logan, Braden and Emily Hinkle and Harley and Hunter Talbert; sister: Mary Kay Myers and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers: King and Kenneth Wise and Richard Miller; and sisters: Vivian Melton and Donna Joy (Miller) Focht. Family and friends will be received, Friday, July 18 at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona from 6 to 8 p.m. and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19 where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday.
