Ruth F Grimminger

Ruth F. Grimminger, 90, Altoona, passed away Tuesday morning at the Altoona Center for Nursing. She was daughter to the late Paul and Erna Fleig. She married Harry A. Grimminger who preceded her in death on December 5, 1976. Ruth was a member of the former First Methodist Church and employed by Penn Jacobson Fastener Corporation as an executive secretary and personnel manager. She graduated from Altoona Area High and enjoyed travelling and sewing. Surviving are a son, Gary Grimminger, Sr. and wife Beverly of Altoona; a grandson, Gary Grimminger, Jr. and wife Heather; and a great-grandson, Brenden Grimminger. She was preceded in death by a brother Jack. Family and friends will be received, Thursday, August 7, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, 719 N 4th Avenue, from 10 to 11 am with a service to immediately follow at 11 am. Cal Wiedemann officiating. Interment at Alto Rest Cemetery.
