Jeffrey L Hippo

Jeffrey L. Hippo, 51, Altoona, passed away Friday morning at his home. He is the son of the late Ernest Hippo and Alberta (Winter) Hippo. He married Susan (Graffius) August 1, 1981 in Altoona. Jeffrey was an electrician for IBEW, a member of Juniata VFW and Local #5, and enjoyed fishing, computers and music. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter: Nichole Cekovich and husband Jeff of Altoona; one son: Adam Hippo and wife Lauren of Altoona; two grandchildren: Anthony and Alex Cekovich; two brothers: Timothy Hippo and wife Sherry of Raleigh, NC and William Woomer and wife Carrie of Pittsburgh; brother-in-law: James Rider; and in-laws: Charles and Kathleen Graffius. He was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy L. Rider. Family and friends will be received, Monday, September 22, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, 719 N. 4th Avenue, Altoona. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
