Ralph R. "Pete" Stacey, Sr., 84, Altoona, passed away Tuesday morning at UPMC-Altoona. Born in Altoona, he was the son of the late Donald and Hannah Stacey. He married Marjorie (Ickes) in Hollidaysburg at the Reservoir Bible Church. Ralph was a Burner for Conrail, attended the Altoona Alliance Church, and served in the US Army, Military Police, from 1947 to 1950. He served as a leader in AWANA at the Reservoir Bible Church where he was also a Deacon, trustee and assistant treasurer. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Autumn Summers and husband Gregory of Altoona; one son: Ralph Stacey, Jr. and wife Adrienne of Altoona; four grandchildren: Karlee Stacey and fiancé Jesse Venturini, Ashton Summers, Landyn Summers, and Kayelynn Summers; and three step grandchildren: Cierra, Mackenzie, and Ryan Naglowsky. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lois and a brother, Donald. Family and friends will be received, Thursday, September 25, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held, Friday, September 26 at 11 AM. Pastor Tim McGarvey officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park.
