Tammy Jo Greenwood Amrhein, 49, Altoona, passed away late Wednesday evening at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Bonnie (Greenwood) Spoolstra. Tammy is survived by her fiancé and love of her life: Steve Glenn, of Altoona; one son: Matthew (fiancé Laura Brogan), of Altoona; three grandchildren: Colin Amrhein, Steven Glenn, and Lilly Glenn; step-children: Steven (Amber) Glenn, U.S. Coast Guard and Scott Glenn, of OH; grandfather: Kenneth Greenwood, of Altoona; aunts and uncles: Debby (Rick) Lambert, Pat (Brenda) Greenwood, Robyn (Steve) Kasun, and Mike (Brenda) Greenwood, and numerous cousins whom she cared for and loved. She was preceded in death by grandmother, Lois Greenwood. Tammy was a real estate agent for Century 21 and was most well known for her work at the Animal House Pet Shop. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the VFW in Juniata, and the F.O.E. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and most importantly, caring for her grandchildren and beloved family. Tammy fought hard for the last eight years and loved life to the fullest. Family and friends will be received, Tuesday, January 6, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and 10 until the 11 AM funeral service, on Wednesday, January 7 with Father J.
