Elizabeth Mansell

Elizabeth "Petty" Mansell, 95, Altoona, passed away early Tuesday morning at UPMC Altoona. Born in Philipburg, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sarah (Jones) Mansell. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and a homemaker. Elizabeth is survived by two nieces: Sara Housley and Betty Styles; three nephews: Gerald Brown, Robert Allison, and Donald Allison, and wife Rose; and special friends: Ethel, David, Dan, Pat, and Paulette. She was preceded in death by one nephew: Sam Housley; and one great-niece: Joyce Girdley. A funeral mass will be held, Thursday, January 8, at 11 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2716 Broad Avenue, Altoona, 16601, with Father David R. Rizzo officiating. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
