Gregory A. Moyer. 51, Homers Gap, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, unexpectedly at his residence Sunday. He was born in North Hollywood, California, a son of Donald C. and Jean (Smith) Moyer. He married Angie (Secriskey) Moyer in Lilly, PA, at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church on November 11, 2000. In addition to his mother, Jean Moyer and wife, Angie Moyer, Greg is survived by three sons: Donnie, Matthew, and Adam Moyer, at home; one sister: Darlene Moyer, of Altoona; two brothers: Ronald and wife Sheryl and John and wife Kelly, both of Altoona; mother-in-law: Connie Secriskey, of Lilly; sister-in-law: Debbie Wolford and husband Rob, of Portage; brother-in-law: Jim Secriskey, of Lilly and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Greg was a devoted family man who loved his wife and sons dearly. His pride and joy were his three sons. He was a wonderful husband and father. He worked as a driver for the Student Transportation of America for Altoona Area School District since 1981. He loved working outside on the family farm and doing wood working. He enjoyed history, especially the Civil War. Greg always had a smile and a nice word to stay to everyone. He will be missed tremendously. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Thursday, January 29, 2015, and 10 until the 11 AM funeral service, Friday, January 30, 2015, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, with Pastor Rodney Lingenfelter, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
