Brian S. Deremer

Brian S. Deremer, 46, Altoona, passed away suddenly, Thursday evening at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of Chester W. and Judith A. (Quarello) Deremer. He is survived by his parents, Chet and Judy of Altoona; a daughter, Maranda Deremer of NC; an uncle, Dick Quarello of Altoona; a cousin, Shawn Gioiosa; and his beloved dog, Zoe. Brian was a 1987 graduate of Altoona High School. He worked alongside his father, as a repairman for his father's business, Chet's Forklift Service. Brian was vice president of the Altoona Area Teener League where he worked many years coaching teen boys. He was former owner of Sports Cards Unlimited and was an avid collector of sports memorabilia. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 24 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday, March 25 from 9:30 until the 10:30 AM funeral service at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata with Reverend Elizabeth Hess officiating. Interment at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
